Case Supervision, Mentorship and Internship

Please note that until further notice, all case supervision, mentorship and internship is achieved long-distance via Zoom.

Case supervision occurs either while a student or homeopath actively takes a case of their own, or can be accomplished by bringing a case that has already been taken for review. For cases that are taken actively in real-time with Cash,  she  will participate in a scheduled appointment and observe and assist the student homeopath or homeopath as she/he /they takes the case. Clients MUST be informed that Cash will be present and supervising the appointment prior to the encounter. Cash will transmit suggestions throughout the appointment in order to ensure successful case taking. Once the appointment is complete, Cash will assist the student/homeopath with case analysis and remedy considerations.

For cases that have already been taken, Cash will meticulously review the case, case notes, rubics and concerns with the student/homeopath and offer guidance to remedy suggestions and potency options. 

Cost for supervision: $179 per 90-minute session (including case analysis) due at booking time.

Additional time will be billed at $35 per additional 15 minutes.

The student/homeopath is responsible to send Cash the Zoom link to attend the appointment. 

Refunds are permitted for cancelations made 24 hours in advance. Refunds are not permitted for same-day cancellations.

If Cash is unable to attend the supervision (due only to an emergency, illness or natural disaster), the fee is 100% refundable unless it is agreed by both parties that the appointment will be rescheduled.

Mentorship is a private one hour appointment with Cash, enabling a student or homeopath to ask questions and get answers and guidance. During this session, Cash will offer advice and expertise.

Internship enables new homeopaths the opportunity to take actual cases under the close supervision of Cash Casia Leo, DiHom, CCH. RSHom (NA).  A new homeopath is permitted to take the case of one of Cash’s existing clients.  Cases are taken via Zoom.  Cash initiates the appointment with both the intern and the client, and then observes as the homeopath takes the case from start to finish.  All remedy recommendations must be approved by Cash.  This gives the new homeopath the opportunity to practice their craft under the gentle and careful guidance of an experienced practitioner. Clients of The Remedy must agree in writing to allow an intern to take their case.  Therefore, internship appointments are awarded to interns as they become available.   

Requirements for internship consideration: 

1. Completion of a 3-year practitioner program in Classical Homeopathy or completion of an accredited doctoral program in Naturopathic Medicine. 

2. Completion of CHC PREP (please visit CHCprep.com) 

3. Certification- Interns must be CHC certified. (https://www.homeopathicdirectory.com/) 

     *Does not apply to licensed Naturopathic Doctors. 

4. Registered Homeopath (with NASH) recommended but not required. https://homeopathy.org/nash-membership/registered-membership/ 

5. Completion of no less than three case-supervision sessions with Cash 

6. Completion of at least one shadowing session with Cash. The homeopath is permitted to observe Cash take a case - without any interaction with Cash or the client during the appointment. Shadowing session opportunities are ONLY granted to perspective interns. To request a shadowing session, please email info@theremedy.life 

7. Formal letter to Cash Leo at The Remedy stating internship interest, reason(s) for pursuing internship, and future goals.

Compensation to interns for internship is $45 per appointment taken and gained experience and knowledge in the field.  Internship is terminated either by the intern, on completion of one year of internship, or on commencement of 15 appointments. Interns receive a certificate of internship completion from The Remedy. Cash also provides letters of recommendation to interns for perspective future employment.
